I founded Serpentine Music Productions in 1992 as a Pagan music label and mail-order distribution business. In 1998, Bantam Books published Circle Round: Raising Children in Goddess Traditions, a book I co-authored with Starhawk and Diane Baker. This amazing book is still in print years later, a treasured resource for new generations of parents who value nature spirituality and want to pass along those values to their children.
A year after Circle Round was published I released my first solo CD, a companion album called Circle Round and Sing! This soon became the top-selling album of my entire music catalog, and I eventually discontinued the rest of the catalog to focus on my own creative projects and publishing.
In 2009 I self-published What To Do When Dreams Go Bad: A practical guide to nightmares. I changed the name of my business to Serpentine Music & Media, and began teaching others how to make the best use of digital publishing, too.
My 2012 book The Baby and the Bathwater, about my 25 years of friendship and activism with Starhawk and Reclaiming, is drawn from content published on my long-running Blog o’ Gnosis. I am also a columnist for the wonderful SageWoman Magazine, which has been sharing the wisdom of Goddess Traditions since the early 1980s.
